WHAT DAYS WILL THE ORCHESTRA WORKSHOP BE?
The cello orchestra within the CellosMagics Festival is much more than a simple musical group. It represents the very essence of the event, embodying the passion and artistic excellence that defines it. Therefore, all the afternoons of the Festival will be dedicated to this workshop. In the next few days we will send you the planning in more detail.
WHEN AND HOW WILL I RECEIVE PARTS FOR THE CELLO ORCHESTRA?
Approximately six weeks before the start of the course we will post the scores (PDF) on this page. This should give you enough time to prepare in advance.
SHOULD I PREPARE MY PART IN ADVANCE?
Yeah! The goal of the rehearsal period is to bring the pieces to a musically mature level. Each individual must prepare their part as best as possible so that technical difficulties are overcome before the start of the Festival.
MY PART IS TOO HARD/TOO EASY! WHAT I CAN DO?
As the cello orchestra tutor has no first-hand experience with your playing, it will of course be difficult for them to assess the extent of your abilities. If you are not comfortable with the part you have been assigned, please email our office: cellosmagics.oficinaestudiante@gmail.com, we will assign you a new part.
